Associated and Catholic Colleges (ACC) Carnivals
It is the aim of the Associated and Catholic Colleges of WA (ACC) to conduct a series of sporting carnivals with the broad aim to provide a culmination to school physical education programs and programs for students with disabilities. The carnivals provide students the opportunity to further develop their skills whilst representing their school in a variety of sports.
Major divisional carnivals are conducted in athletics, swimming and cross country, providing annual competition on a promotion and relegation basis in accordance with its Constitution.
All Star teams are selected after the three major carnivals in athletics, cross country and swimming. All Star teams are honorary teams comprised of the top performers across all schools and divisions.
Inclusive Sports sporting carnivals are conducted in swimming, athletics, indoor soccer, ten pin bowling and a fun run/walk. The Inclusive Sports Program is designed to provide students with a disability the opportunity to represent their school in ACC sport.
Other sport specific carnivals are also conducted on a needs basis. Currently these include an open Hockey Challenge carnival and an AFL School Boys' Cup carnival for Year 10 boys and a Dockers Shield for Year 7 boys and girls.
