Message to Parents
As a parent of a rower, you will see your child grow into a strong, fit and confident young person and you will have the opportunity to meet and mix with a great group of parents. You will be encouraged to become involved with the running of the club and all parents participate in the club's activities in some way.
Club Membership
The John XXIII Rowing Club consists of rowers and parents and is run by a Rowing Coordinator/Teacher employed by the College. Any financial rower is a member as are his/her family. The Committee consists of approximately 8 parent members and each year, usually in May, office bearers (President Secretary, Treasurer, etc) and other committee members are elected by club members at the Annual General Meeting.
The Committee meets several times a year and reviews the activities of the office bearers and considers Club policies and activities. Parents are welcome to enquire about the running of the Club or to become involved.
